Our coaches are mentors, motivators, and experts in youth futsal development. With international experience and a passion for teaching, they guide every player with discipline, empathy, and purpose—building champions on and off the court.

Team Roster

Coach: Jaime Meza

Jaime Meza is a founding coach at Saeta Futsal Academy and a key mentor in the early development stages of youth players. With over 10 years of coaching experience in Saskatoon’s school and community futsal programs, he’s known for his ability to build discipline, confidence, and love for the sport in his players.
Jaime specializes in foundational skills and personal growth, making him a pillar in training players ages 5 to 11. His warm teaching style, combined with his strong sense of structure, makes him a trusted figure for both parents and young athletes.

Coach: Thiago Prado

Thiago Prado is a Brazilian-born coach with over seven years of experience in the Saskatoon Futsal League (SFL), where he serves as president. A lifelong futsal and soccer player since age 3, he competed nationally with the 2017 Olimpia SK Futsal Club and won silver at the CSA Futsal Canadian Championship.
Holding multiple degrees—including a Master’s in Human Resources and a background in Business and Agriculture—Thiago brings a unique and inclusive coaching philosophy focused on diversity, equity, and player development both on and off the court.
